About Amanda Lee Bittle

I am a Professional Writing senior at the University of Oklahoma. Though the program focuses on fiction writing, I have a strong love for telling true stories, too.

When I graduate, I plan to put out feelers all over the country and see what comes my way. I would love to live in the mountains, but I’d go just about anywhere.

I have experience writing for the Oklahoma City Community College Pioneer and for Blogcritics.org. I love the moment during an interview when I stop being nervous and start enjoying my conversation with someone I’d probably never otherwise have met. Journalism is pretty exhilarating like that.

I am looking forward to the adventures and challenges that I know this year has in store for me. I just have to remember to get enough sleep.
